Cheap Eats review from Sara, Megan, Emily & Dani – Mexico Food and Liquor

Our cheap eats crew went to Mexico Food and Liquor (yes, that’s the official name) which is super close to Urbanest and has some really delicious dishes!  It’s just on the other side of Railway Square, on Randle Street in Surry Hills.  The whole experience, from the decor to the service to the food, was great!  We all got quesadillas (both meat and vegetarian options available) for $14, pretty reasonable for good Mexican food.  The portions were huge and one dinner could definitely be shared!  We all shared some guacamole for an appetizer which was also great.  The atmosphere is very nice and quite romantic (if anyone is looking for a good date place!).  For dessert, we decided to head over to Gelatissimo for some gelato (even though Mexico Food and Liquor is definitely filling in itself).  If you haven’t been there, Gelatissimo is right around the corner from Market City on Sussex Street and there’s another one located on Darling Harbour, both just minutes from the nest.  The gelato is so delicious and a small cup or cone is less than $5!  A very successful dinner outing that included an appetizer, dinner, and dessert at only $20 a person!

A note about Turn-it-in submissions

Turn-it-in reports remain an important part of our approach to assessment at Academic Integrity at NYU Sydney and you will be required to upload your final assignments in NYU Classes, in the manner that you have been doing all semester.
Remember, to submit you just have to go to the assignments tab in the NYU Classes area for your course, select the relevant assessment task and upload your assignment.
The assignment must be in one of the following file types: Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx); Portable Document Format (.pdf) Corel WordPerfect; HTML; Adobe PostScript; Plain Text (.txt); Rich Text Format (.rtf). Max file size is 20MB.
Please ignore any emails from turn-it-in asking you to go to the turn-it-in website directly to sign in and submit your assignment. All submissions should be made from the assignments tab in NYU Classes.
For the most part, the system has been working well but we are aware that there have been some glitches with the new integration of turn-it-in into NYU Classes. If you experience a problem with generating a turn-it-in report, make sure you get in touch with Megan so she can investigate and report it to ITS: megan.carrigy@nyu.edu Don’t panic if this happens to you as you won’t be the only one! Thanks for your patience as these issues are ironed out by NYU.
